You can reach Mannavanur Lake by traveling through Poombarai. The lake is 33 km away from Kodaikanal Lake. To get there, take the Kodai Observatory road. After a few kilometers, you will enter the Kodaikanal reserve forest. Continue on the Kodai Observatory road until you reach Poombarai Road.
