Kodaikanal Forest Entry
If you are planning to visit Kodaikanal, consider exploring forested locations such as Moir Point, Pine Forest, Guna Caves, and Pillar Rocks. Then this article is for you.
Starting from August 18, 2023, new rules have been announced by the Forest Department:
When you enter into the Kodaikanal Forest to visit above places. You must need below four documents if fail means you will not permitted 🚫 to enter into forest range.
- Driving License 📄
- Vehicles RC Book 📄
- Insurance Certificate for Vehicle 📄
- Vehicle Pollution Certificate 📄
At Moir Point, there are charges for vehicle entry fees and entry fees to tourist places. Tourist places are closed 🚫 on every Tuesday for cleaning and maintenance purpose.
As per Government Order (Ms). N0.11 Environment and Forests (FR.5) Department Dated. 08.02.2018, Wild Life Sanctuary Tourist Place Entry Fee are as Follows.
For Indian 🇮🇳
Adult – Rs 30
Children above 5 years and below 12 years – Rs 20
Private Schools Children (Age 5 to 12 years) – Rs 20
Children from Govt and Aided Schools – Rs 5
Children below 5 years – No fee
Video Camera or Handi Camera – RS 300
Still Camera – Rs 50
For Foreigners 🌎
Adult – Rs 300
Children above 5 years and below 12 years – Rs 200
Private Schools Children (Age 5 to 12 years) – Rs 200
Children from Govt and Aided Schools – Rs 50
Children below 5 years – No fee
Video Camera or Handi Camera – RS 3000
Still Camera – Rs 500
