Bryant, a Madurai forest officer, in 1908. Coaker’s Walk
Coakers Walk is one of the must-visit tourist places in Kodaikanal and also one of the nearby places in Kodaikanal. Coaker’s walk is 400 m away from Kodaikanal bus stand. It is a man-made walking path constructed by Lt. Coaker in 1872. The pathway is about one kilometer long and built on the mountains; this place offers beautiful views of valleys, forests, and hills. Located at an elevation of 2,347 meters above sea level, the path is made of bricks and has a railing to ensure safety on one side.
